The point seems to have been missed - the reader is looking at the literal meaning. Does the Japanese constitution say 'Japan that is Nippon' in order not to displease some parts of its population. We can not call India 'Bharat' lest it offends our religious minorties. The issue is similar to that of singing 'Vande Mataram' or prayer with 'Saraswathi Vandana' in educational institutions.
