Chairman, Karachi Market Association, said that he have seen mob of 20 to 35 people carrying Petrol canes and some powder they move shop by shop by throwing petrol /powder . ... .. they were trying to cover maximum market area. It was well planned attack on shops.

KARACHI: Pakistan has received $1.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the fourth tranche of an emergency loan facility agreed upon last year, the central bank said on Tuesday.
ââ¬ÅWe received $1.2 billion from the IMF on December 28,ââ¬Â State Bank of Pakistan chief spokesman Syed Wasimuddin said.
The IMF increased its loan to Pakistan to $11.3 billion in July under an economic programme first agreed upon in November 2008, to avert a balance of payments crisis.

The 23-month SBA in an amount equivalent to SDR 5.17 billion (about US$8.11 billion) was approved on November 24, 2008 (see Press Release No. 08/303). On August 7, 2009, the SBA was augmented to an amount equivalent to SDR 7.24 billion ([color="#FF0000"]about US$11.35 billion[/color]) and extended to end 2010 (see Press Release No. 09/281).
