: Gen Chauhan, Vice President of Soldier league will be here in USA from Oct 25 to Jan 25 for his Life Appreciation
recognition Certficate from Indian Embassy in Washington and also for Community Foundation work which is being
carried out at Pauri, UttarKhand.
Soldier league is perhaps, the biggest and unparalleled NGO in India. Same can be

'India remains 1 'coz of it's Army which has been holding the
fissiparous and separatist tendencies of extremists at bay. The retired Army officers
and men have formed a volunteer organization to extend the team spirit
of Army in civilian life:

Here are a few of it's goals:
1. India already has scarcity of water and it may become acute very soon.
SainikSangh is contributing it's might to tackle this problem head on by water harvesting.
2. To create job opportunities for villagers in their villages. This
reminds me the famous lines of Mahatma Gandhi
Hai apna desh kahan
vo basa hamare gaonon mein
= India lives in it's villages.
3. By taking care of war widows and orphans.
