Thank you, Pandyan, but the voice I am looking for was mature male, with a quite extraordinary range. He sang but without words - just pure sounds. Mumbai was his home city, & I think he had a singing brother. Anyone else have a clue?
And sorry moderator if I am in the wrong place. Where exactly is the right place? I find this forum as difficult to navigate as most others. I used the Search box with 'Indian Music', but no go. Why are internal webpage search engines so useless compared to Google? Maybe a 'tree chart' of topics & sub-topics might keep us dumber beasts in order?
