77 innocent Hindus Killed in Kashmir by Muslim Terrorists in three incidents.
The date of the attack
June 20, 1998
The location
A remote rural area in the southern part of Kashmir. India.
A brief synopsis of the event
In one of the worst attacks on Hindu civilians, 25 men taking part in wedding parties were killed on Friday by Pakistan sponsored islamic terrorists armed with automatic weapons.
The Terrorists, in cold blood, killed members of two wedding parties drinking tea at a village stall while waiting for a bus to take them home after the weddings. The officials said five terrorists arrived in a stolen jeep, took cash and jewelry from the wedding guests at gunpoint, then separated the men and opened fire. The two bridegrooms were among those killed.
This was the third time in six months that large groups of Hindu civilians were singled out and killed by Islamic Terrorists.
On January, earlier that year 23 Hindu civilians were gunned down in cold-blood by Islamic terrorists in a village north of Srinagar. Then in April, 29 Hindu villagers, including 13 women and children, were killed in a remote mountain district in the Udhampur district, between Srinagar and Jammu.
The number dead
