FARMVILLE, July 7 (UPI) ââ¬â I have been reading a new book, given by my good friend who taught world religions at Longwood University till last year. The book, by the well-known religion scholar Raimon Panikkar, adumbrates what my friend hopes will enable Christians to become better Christians and to become more accepting of other faiths and religions. I have argued with my friend that the Raimon Panikkars of the world are too few, and have little influence in the hurly-burly of Christian politics.
