As reported in Daily Pakistan, a six year old boy alleged that the Taliban tried to force him to wear a suicide belt to attack American forces in Afghanistan. The Taliban have denied the allegations. Six year old Juma Gul, from District Andhar, said that the Taliban took him to southern Afghanistan and sent him to the district office wearing the suicide belt.

In daily Nawa-e-Waqt, columnist Allama Choudhry Asghar Ali Kausar Warriach wrote that intelligent students of Karachi visited Data Darbar to pray for the future of Pakistan. They were invited by Majid Nizami, chairman of the Ideology of Pakistan Foundation (IPF). The president of IPF, Dr Rafiq Ahmad, said that the reason for the creation of Pakistan was that Muslims, who believe in one God, should live separately from the Hindus, who pray before 33 crores of gods.
Jihadi butcher kills shrine keeper
As reported in daily Express, in Farooqabad the keeper of the darbar Bhoori Wali Sarkar, Ghulam Sarwar, was slaughtered by a butcher, Mohammad Irfan, in front of hundreds of devotees and a police contingent. <!--emo&:o--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo--> The culprit said that he is waging jihad against evil, and he wanted to kill Naseebo Lal, who was coming to perform there. <b>General Babar wants Lal Masjid clerics punished</b>
As reported in daily Express, Ex-Interior Minister and central leader of Pakistan Peoplesâ Party Major General Naseerullah Babar said the government shall pursue the case against the clerics of Lal Masjid and punish the terrorists who are hiding behind the name of Islam. He said that news of cases against 70 female students was printed to appease the Chinese before the Interior Ministerâs visit to China.
<b>Ume Hassan claims 80 corpses were inside Jamia Hafsa </b>
As reported in daily Express, the Lal Masjid administration claimed that 80 dead bodies are lying in Jamia Hafsa. Ume Hassan, wife of Maulana Abdul Aziz, told a private TV channel tha<b>t 30 dead bodies of girl students are lying in Jamia Hafsa and 50 students are lying in Lal Masjid</b>. Omar, a student of Jamia Faridia who was present in Lal Masjid told a private TV channel that there were 300 armed warriors inside the mosque and 1,200 female students inside Jamia Hafsa before the operation.
<b>Historical burqas of Lal Masjid</b>
In daily Jang, columnist Nazir Naji wrote that the historical burqa shall be placed in a museum for future generations to remember the golden period when a maulvi of a government mosque occupied illegal property. He turned the mosque into a fortress and then tried to impose his self-styled Islam on the 16 crores of Muslims in Pakistan. They pushed the children of others for martyrdom but tried to escape in a burqa when their time of martyrdom came.
<b>50 percent of imams in England are Pakistani</b>
Daily Jang, quoting from BBC report, wrote that only 6 percent of imams of mosques in England have English as their first language. 45 percent of imams have spent less than 5 years in England. 50 percent of the imams are from Pakistan, 20 percent from Bangladesh, and 15 percent from India. 66 percent speak Urdu and 51 percent deliver their Friday sermons in Urdu. Only 23 percent have lived in England for more than 10 years.
<b>Burqa couldnât hide the walk</b>
In daily Jang, columnist Nazir Naji wrote that if Abdul Azizâs escape in a burqa was successful then Ghazi Abdul Rashid would have followed his brother. Before them a bearded friend escaped from the security forces in a burqa. Two security officers got suspicious because the walk of that veiled lady was different. When they removed his veil they found Maulana Abdul Aziz.

The mosque operation, suicide blast and the recent wave of terror unleashed by extremists across the country have prompted people to think that Islamabad is no more secure. SSP Zafar Iqbal told Daily Times that three types of cordons had been put up in Islamabad - main, middle and interior. He said 70 pickets manned by 1,200 law enforcement personnel were set up in the city. <b>More than 80 people have returned to China from Karachi in the past two days </b>fearing that the law and order situation would worsen in the coming days, revealed Mujahid Zaman of Pakistan-China Foundation while talking to The News on Saturday.
Many people of Chinese orgin who had been residing in Karachi for over 16 years packed their bags and left for China after the recent bomb blast with the promise of returning when the situation stabilizes. Zaman said that the remaining families also feel extremely vulnerable and are refraining from stepping out of their homes.
<b>âThey have also been issued strict orders by the Chinese Consulate to avoid visiting public places like shopping malls or hypermarkets,â </b>he added. However, during a meeting with a Chinese family and a visiting delegation at the Pakistan-China Cultural Center on Saturday, they refused to admit that they felt unsafe.
Tsui His Ping, Senior Vice President Pakistan China Foundation and the owner of a Chinese restaurant in DHA said he has been living in Karachi for the past 30 years and claimed that the past incidents would not make him change his mind and leave the city, which he now considers home.
Even though the petrified look on his face had another story to tell, Mr. and Mrs. Ping both claimed that these acts of terrorists were aimed at harming the cordial relations between China and Pakistan. Their 12-year-old grandson, Jackson Chee, however, was exceptionally chirpy throughout the conversation.
His parents practice dentistry in Saddar and have no plans of leaving Pakistan either. âIâm not going to leave this country. This is my birthplace,â he says. He also said he rarely felt being discriminated against and that Pakistanis are kind people. On being questioned what he enjoys most about being in Pakistan, he said âspicy foodâ with a glint in his eye.
