Chinese Map showing Indian territories from Aksai Chin to Arunachal Pradesh as part of its territory.
‘Is it Indian or Chinese?’ is the question that puzzles the viewer after watching the highly hyped television programme - which we shall see.
In a press conference held in the first week of November last year, Two BJP MPs from Arunachal Pradesh, Tapir Gao and Kiren Rijiju narrated incidents relating to Chinese incursions into their state. In one such incident, in the first week of November, 2007 Chinese soldiers blew up a Buddha statue - well inside Indian territory - which was there as long as anyone could remember and which local inhabitants worshipped.
In NDTV’s February 16 Big Fight, (Should India talk tough on border dispute?), a presumable sequel to the press conference, Kiren Rijiju’s concerns were tossed aside on the floodtide of Singhvi’s eloquence. Prakash Javedkar’s protests were dismissed as a paranoid party’s undue alarmism. Comrade Ren Yan, could go home with the satisfaction that the ruling establishment and popular media in India alike support China’s cause because they had to spite her principal opposition.
Is it ‘The Big Fight’ then Indian or Chinese?
Marxists and Jihadis: Partners in Crime
The prevention of crime and anti-social activities is an important responsibility of the government-one in which all segments of society have a stake. But on that crime fighting ideological front, the Marxist government in Kerala has been notably deficient. (In the view of the Marxists aligned with the Jihadis, peace loving, law abiding Hindus are the real problem of social tension, crime, violence and Jihadi terrorism).
Gratuitous depictions of sex and artistic portrayals of lovemaking have existed throughout history. Several traditional artists have used the theme pornography, erotica and nudity with a degree of artistry or good taste . Recently M.F. Husain, the Islamic painter, through his pornographic painting of Hindu Goddesses added the issue of taste, morality, decency, obscenity, religion and artistic freedom for discussion. Sex, nudity and pornography are central to M.F. Husain . Modern marketing system and profit making corporations have promoted M.F. Husain in unexpected ways. The unholy nexus between Islamic nude pointer M.F. Husain and art sale houses has serious implications for Hindus. M.F. Husain deliberately with malicious intention has depicted nude pictures of Hindu Goddesses to arouse the public sexually and sell his erotic painting for profit. M.F. Husain has a subversive aim to use his erotic painting as a weapon to attack Hindu sentiments.
Historian’s Double Standards Exile Sri Rama - Again
The Rama Setu controversy has been rocking India for the last many months. Hindus believe that Sri Rama built a bridge to Sri Lanka, and hence the place is sacred. The government wants to dredge the channel and obliterate the formation. The controversial ex-JNU historian Romila Thapar recently (The Hindu, September 28, 2007) dismissed the historicity of Rama because there are several mutually irreconcilable versions of The Ramayana. She then made a startling claim:
India's English media glorifies Nazi church!
The World Council of Churches (WCC) recently received favorable coverage in a section of India's English media which hailed it as a liberal Christian organization that opposes war and proselytism. Hans Ucko, a head of the WCC, while apparently denouncing conversions through the use of force or inducements, advocated “the mission of God, to which the church as well as people of other religious traditions may be called to participate.” In other words, he preferred conversions by other means.
Jodhaa Akbar, Jihadi Akbar!
Jodhaa Akbar is a recent Hindi movie about the supposedly romantic marriage between the Mughal emperor Akbar (born Jalaluddin Muhammad) and the Rajput princess Jodhaa. The Rajput king Bharmal sues for peace with Akbar to avoid the threat of Mughal invasion and offers his daughter Jodhaa in matrimony to Akbar. Jodhaa insists that Akbar allow her to remain a Hindu and that she should be allowed to worship Sri Krishna in his palace as preconditions for marriage. Even though Akbar acquiesces, and marries her according to Hindu rites, Jodhaa resents him as a usurper, and on their nuptial night rebuffs Akbar’s overtures.
India's Intellectual Zombies
For centuries Hindu society has been active in producing intellectuals, philosophers, psychologists, scientists, political theorists, artists, poets, spiritual leaders and life scientists. Islamic invasion, Christian colonialism, destruction of Sanskrit education and Marxist influence had a disastrous influence on Hindu society. The social and psychological conditioning suffered by Hindus lead frequently to the erosion of cultural identity and the depersonalization of individuals. It is therefore, not surprising that the production of intellectuals dwindled. The repercussions of long period of Islamic oppression and colonization , in the wake of social and cultural disintegration and the trauma suffered by Hindus as a whole, persist even today. Everybody seem to agree that Hindu civilization is now facing a crisis. Entrenched forces from within and without have joined together to de-structure or destroy our thoughts , beliefs, practices and values.

For several years dogmatic Marxist ideology has developed many steps closer to its goal of "wiping the Hindu nation off the map". Marxists have joined with several dogmatic, fundamentalist ideologies and British colonialists to de-structure and dismantle Hindu society. In collaboration with our enemies, Marxists have made several attempts to destroy the "oldest surviving culture" and have made several "apocalyptic utterances" and social engineering schemes to restructure Hindu society. But Hindu society with its all inclusive, eclectic philosophy and tolerant attitudes survived and prospered. ...

Observing Pakistan’s unfolding implosion is prompting a pleasing sensation of Schadenfreude for most Indians. But it is a grave mistake to imagine that the final outcome will not be hazardous for India. Nor is it likely that Pakistan’s leaders, harbouring visceral hatred for Hindu India, will desist from harming it while they themselves self-destruct. Indeed there is a strong likelihood of temptation to aim for an apocalyptic endgame for the region should Pakistan itself truly disintegrate. Pakistani society is already deeply divided horizontally, with several regions increasingly estranged from the Federal State and vertically, with a vast constituency enraged by their own shockingly greedy and profoundly foolhardy elites. And the ubiquitous Americans will come up with another surreal plan for Pakistan, without ceding control over its armed forces and the nuclear assets they and the Chinese conspired to implant there in order to bring India to heel....

Even today, fifty-eight years after independence, Hindus and India are under siege. Hindus are beaten, India is beaten-not by the strength of the enemy but by our own mistakes and indifference. Indian political leaders made alliances with oppressive forces that limited freedom for Hindus. Political leaders frightened, uprooted and oppressed Hindus, confiscated temple properties and made Hindus a tool for the purpose of their political power. In the name of democracy, the political parties have a long history of offering stones and snakes to Hindus. Hindus have faced several phases of traumatic situation including passive compliance with the oppressive invaders and hostile political parties. As a result, helplessness, hopelessness, apathy, denial, indifference and tolerance of intolerance took hold on Hindus. The extreme traumatisation and brutal oppression inflicted deep wounds on Hindus. Even after 58 years of independence the scars are still present and led Hindus to a sense of conceptual confusion and despair.
